Awards! Thank You!

I was recently nominated for a couple of awards, yay!

I’m pretty new to blogging. When I first started, I’d check out people’s sites, and see the blog awards. I’d say to myself, “I don’t think I’ll ever get one of those!” Let alone have anyone read my posts.

But I’ve found that this blogging community is so supportive, and I’m proud and happy to be a part of it. I’m grateful for every like, every comment, every follow.

Seven interesting things about myself:

1. I love coffee iced blended drinks. Mocha is my favorite, topped with whipped cream.

2. I studied broadcast journalism in college. I wanted to be an anchor or news reporter.

3. I love to bake. My specialties are chocolate chip cookies, chocolate cake, and carrot cake.

4. I used to be a ballet dancer.

5. I met my husband when I was 14. We didn’t date until my early 20s.

6. I was a cheerleader in high school.

7. There’s nothing I love more than my family.

1. The beach. Preferably Maui.

2. I’m almost always positive.

3. I love almost all movies! I can’t name just one favorite. I love romantic comedies, adventure, psychological thrillers, comedy. The only kind of movies I won’t ever see are horror films. I’d be covering my eyes the entire time!
